Requirements of Alberta Foreign Graduate Entrepreneur Stream (FGES)

To be eligible for the AFGES, you must meet the following requirements:

1. Education: You must have completed a Canadian post-secondary degree or diploma at an institution in Alberta.
2. Work Experience: You must have at least one year of full-time work experience in Alberta in a job related to your field of study.
3. Age: You must be between 21 and 45 years of age.
4. Language: You must have a minimum language proficiency level of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 5 in either English or French.

6. Investment: You must have at least $100,000 in capital available to invest in your business in Alberta.
7. Entrepreneurial Intent: You must demonstrate a commitment to settle in Alberta as an entrepreneur and create or purchase a business.
8. Settlement Funds: You must have sufficient funds to settle in Alberta.

Once you have met the requirements of the AFGES, you can submit an application to the AINP. If your application is successful, you will be nominated to apply for permanent residency in Canada.
